Shining Star Resort

Shining Star Resort is a hill resort of Khajjiar located in the Chamba valley in Himachal Pradesh. The resort is a small lust meadow that attracts a great influx of tourists every year. Amidst Oak (Deodar) forest and an apple orchard, the hotel gives a panoramic view of the milky white Himalayan peaks and lush green landscape. It is a welcome stopover for the tourists moving between Dalhousie and Chamba.

The hotel is a unit of Hotel Dalhousie Grand, which is one of the top hotel resorts in the district. It is a family run business who are in the field of hospitality for more than two decades, and it was established when there was nothing around.

Shining Star Resort is a four-storied building with a variety of room categories such as Suite Rooms, Family rooms, Super deluxe rooms, and Standard Budget. Along with the proper lodging facility, they provide accommodation for people of different spending capacity. It has around 24 rooms, an in-house restaurant (the Punjabi Rasoi), a conference hall, and a roof-top dining facility.

They provide distinct packages according to the MAP (Modified American Plan) in which room facility is given along with breakfast and one major meal (Lunch/Dinner), CP (Continental Plan) where room service is available including breakfast, and EP (European Plan) which is room only basis facility.
