Lord Shiva Statue

The tallest in the state, the statue of Lord Shiva is standing at 85 feet, which is an absolute delight and wonder. The past rulers have constructed it in order to urge the god and get their wishes fulfilled. It is built in the complex of the Jagdambe Mata Temple in Khajjiar. The statue was completely polished in bronze, which makes it glitter and glisten, effecting as an enchanting site to witness and hold. It is believed that wishes come true after paying a visit to this statue, that is why the temple is visited by a large number of devotees every year. Moreover, the nearby temple hosts a number of religious events in June and July, which is a treat for the locals and tourists.
